Results and recommendations for  “Together on security and defence”

During 22.-24. of April 2016, three day meeting of slovak security and defence community was held in Parkhotel Tartuf, under the project “Together on security and defence” More than 40 political representatives, analysts and experts came to Beladice, in order to discuss current security issues.

In the opening speech of the Minister of Defence of SR – Peter Gajdoš, presented priorities of his ministry for the upcoming years. His speech was followed by the discussion between the government representatives, parliament memebers, NGO representatives, academia and private sector about the current security challenges under the rules of Chatham Housep. Main topics of the discussions are mentioned in the final recommendations.

Annual meeting is a part of the project supported by Ministry of Defence of SR, The main goals of the project are to participate on defence and security making and formulation of progressive thoughts and recommendations for actors on governmental level.
