Summer School: Youth against Extremism and Radicalization

Slovak Security Policy Institute in cooperation with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic and NATO PDD organized second Summer School: Youth against Extremism and Radicalization.

Main goal of the project is to support development of tolerance among youth and children as a response to the increasing number of racist, xenophobic, anti-Semitic and other manifestations of intolerance and discrimination among increasingly young population. This phenomenon is also present at high schools and elementary schools.

On 22nd June – 24th June 2018, high-school students gathered in Banská Štiavnica to attend lectures and workshops led by Slovak experts on the issues of extremism and radicalization in Slovakia.

After summer school, Slovak Security Policy Institute also published another text- book with presented lectures, which will be distributed electronically and via post to Slovak high schools.

REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER SCHOOL 2019 OPENS IN APRIL 2019.

Slovak Security Policy Institute is the only responsible for the content of the project.
