Secure and Strong: V4 goes cyber – Bratislava
In cooperation with foreign partners and with support of the International Visegrad Fund, Slovak Security Policy Institute has successfully launched the project “Secure and Strong: V4 goes cyber”. During the first study trip in Bratislava a group of experts from the V4 countries had a series of meetings with representatives of institutions responsible for cyber security of the Slovak Republic. The purpose of these meetings was to discuss current state of Slovak cybersecurity and cooperation of V4 countries in this field. Participants visited Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic and Data Centre, where CSIRT.SK is located. Also KPMG company representatives and representative of the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic have presented their perspectives and view. Another part of this project is also sharing knowledge about cybern security through series of university lectures. First university lecture took place on Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava. During this lecture, experts discussed with students the role of the state in maintaining security of cyber space.
