The aim of this project is to explain the priorities and interests of foreign and security policies of Slovak Republic to students through interactive discussion at High Schools in Slovakia.

In recent years we are facing fundamental changes in the international and security structure that are challenging the international law and order. These challenges are accompanied with spread of disinformation campaigns which undermine the fundamental rules and functioning of international institution. This is also having direct impact on the public in Slovakia and its support and trust in the Slovak state institutions as well as in the foreign policy priorities and its membership in Euro-Atlantic area.

The ambition of this project is to provide students and public as well information and knowledge about foreign and security policy of Slovak Republic without the need to extensively focus on foreign expert publications and studies from various reliable sources which are often the cause of discouragement for young students to improve their knowledge about current foreign and security issues and challenges.

All texts and studies presented during the interactive discussions about current topics of European and Global security and challenges will be distributed with the aim to facilitate the learning process for teachers and students and raise the awareness of the youth for security area.

The project is done in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic on the topic Foreign Policy of Slovak Republic – priorities and new challenges following the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
